Servants of the Most Merciful: Faith in Action

A 10-part series which paints the living portrait of ʿIbādur-Raḥmān — believers whose humility, mercy, and integrity turn faith into action and trust into community.

TRANSFORMATIONAL Al-Iman Amānah

Part of Minaretein Center’s new mission, Al-Iman Amānah: Faith as a Living Trust, this flagship series redefines faith as something not only believed but embodied as a trust to be lived with dignity, mercy, and responsibility.

Drawing from the closing verses of Sūrat al-Furqān (25:63–77), Dr. Omar Suleiman guides participants through ten defining qualities of the Servants of the Most Merciful — believers whose hearts are anchored in Allah and whose manners radiate compassion and balance. Each episode connects timeless Qur’anic character with the moral and social challenges of modern life, inviting individuals and communities to transform belief into service.

The upcoming session (19 Jan): Moral Discernment and Presence

“And when they come across falsehood, they pass ˹it˺ by with dignity.”

وَإِذَا مَرُّوا۟ بِٱللَّغْوِ مَرُّوا۟ كِرَامًا

— Sūrat al-Furqān, 25:72

In this session we explore one of the most subtle yet powerful qualities of ʿIbād al-Raḥmān: the ability to move through a world filled with noise, falsehood, and harm without being consumed by it.

The Qur’an describes the servants of the Most Merciful as people who do not merely avoid wrongdoing, but who carry themselves with inner clarity, restraint, and dignity, even when confronted with ignorance or ill speech. This session reflects on how faith cultivates a moral presence that is calm, aware, and anchored in consciousness of Allah.

Rather than reacting impulsively or withdrawing completely, believers are called to embody discernment — knowing when to speak, when to remain silent, and how to remain ethically present in challenging environments.
