About Us

Minaretein Center is the community engagement arm of the College of Islamic Studies at HBKU. Based in Education City Mosque, it's a spiritual and educational hub for all, blending sacred tradition with contemporary life.

The meaning behind Minaretein

Minaretein, Arabic for Twin Minarets, symbolizes the sacred bond between the two beacons of light and knowledge. Rising in harmony toward the Qiblah, these two minarets reflect the Prophetic tradition of uniting the mosque and the madrasa, where hearts and minds are illuminated by divine light and nurtured by sacred knowledge. Bridging faith and intellect, each minaret stands as a guiding lighthouse calling the community to grow in its spiritual and intellectual domains.
