A 6-week character development program for girls aged 11–13, exploring the Qur’an and Sunnah to cultivate beautiful character and Islamic values for everyday life.
The greatest gift we can give our children is beautiful character. In the Qur’an, ḥikmah (wisdom), tazkiyah (purification of the soul), and noble character are deeply connected. One of the great purposes of the Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ mission was to nurture hearts that knew Allah and reflected His guidance through excellent manners and conduct.
Young Hearts, Noble Character takes girls on a journey through the Qur’an and Sunnah to discover what it means to live as Muslims of outstanding character.
Presented as part of Al-Īmān Amānah, Minaretein Center’s faith-centered initiative dedicated to nurturing īmān, character, and a confident connection to the Islamic tradition.
Over six weeks, participants will explore how Islamic character is expressed through some of the relationships closest to us: our families, our neighbours, and the guests we welcome into our homes.
Through Qur’anic guidance and the example of the Prophet ﷺ, girls will explore themes including:
Each session combines Qur’anic verses, authentic hadith, inspiring stories, engaging discussions, and practical activities, helping participants translate Islamic values into everyday behaviour at home, in their communities, and among friends.
“Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example.”
Qur’an 33:21
By learning from his ﷺ example, participants will move beyond simply knowing what good character looks like and begin putting it into practice.
