Ramadan Preparation gathering for Ages 12–14
Ready for Ramadan: Preparing Hearts and Minds is a special Ramadan preparation event designed to help young people (ages 12–14) understand the significance of Ramadan and approach the month with confidence, purpose, and enthusiasm.
As students enter a stage of greater responsibility in worship, this gathering provides both foundational knowledge and practical guidance, helping them connect spiritually while balancing school, wellbeing, and daily routines during Ramadan.
This event is a part of Minaretein Center’s Al-Iman Amānah: Faith as a Living Trust initiative, which seeks to nurture faith not only as knowledge, but as lived responsibility. By guiding young Muslims to understand the purpose of fasting, develop sincere intentions, and build practical spiritual habits, the program helps students approach Ramadan as an amānah, or a sacred opportunity to grow in discipline, awareness, and character. Through reflection, discussion, and goal-setting, participants are encouraged to carry the spirit of Ramadan into their daily lives with confidence and clarity.
