Nearly 20,000 worshippers gathered at Education City Stadium to celebrate Eid Al-Adha in an atmosphere of faith, unity, and community, supported by more than 160 volunteers.
Education City Stadium welcomed 19,979 worshippers for the Eid Al-Adha prayer on Wednesday, 27 May 2026, bringing together families, students, staff, and members of the wider community for one of the largest congregational gatherings of the year.
Held in a specially prepared air-conditioned area on the stadium pitch, the event provided a welcoming and accessible environment for worshippers of all ages to come together in celebration of Eid Al-Adha.
The successful delivery of the event was made possible through the dedication of more than 160 volunteers, who supported a wide range of operational and community-facing functions, including guest services, logistics, hospitality, accessibility support, crowd management, and family activities.
Following the prayer, attendees enjoyed a festive atmosphere with a variety of family-friendly activities and entertainment, creating an opportunity for the community to celebrate together beyond the prayer itself.
