The Art of the Qalam: Riq'ah for Adults (Intermediate)

This Arabic Calligraphy Course is designed for adult learners who wish to deepen their mastery of one of the most widely used and elegant Arabic scripts.

This course is ideal for graduates of the Basic Riqʿah level, as well as participants with equivalent foundational experience who are ready to advance their skills.

Weekly sessions follow a structured, interactive, and practice-oriented approach, emphasizing mastery, aesthetic balance, and technical accuracy. Participants engage in guided exercises that promote continuous improvement and confidence.

About the Instructor

The course is delivered in Arabic by Farhan Yudha Pratama, an Islamic calligraphy artist with a strong academic background in Arabic Language and Literature and extensive teaching experience in traditional calligraphy.

He is proficient in:

• Classical calligraphy styles
• Drawing and illustration
• Digital editing

He also holds an Ijazah (certification) in Riqʿah script from Shaykh Belaid Hamidi (Morocco).

• Open to graduates of the Basic Riqʿah course
