Muru’ah: The Forgotten Code of Honour

Join Sheikh Ali Hammuda for a thought-provoking reflection on muru’ah — the ancient Arab code of dignity and moral excellence that shaped societies before written law. Discover how Islam refined this timeless virtue into a path of faith, integrity, and balanced living.

TRANSFORMATIONAL Connect

Before laws and systems, there was Muru’ah — the pre-Islamic code of honour that defined dignity, chivalry, and responsibility. It inspired courage, loyalty, and compassion long before formal codes of conduct existed. But what happens when muru’ah is illuminated by revelation and guided by divine values?

In this engaging session, Sheikh Ali Hammuda explores how Islam elevated this moral code into a comprehensive framework for ethical living — one that shapes our understanding of manhood, womanhood, and moral responsibility today.

Through historical insights and contemporary reflection, this talk invites us to rediscover muru’ah as a timeless quality that restores balance, humility, and purpose in our fractured modern world.
