A 6-session workshop blending Islamic guidance and psychology to help couples strengthen love, communication, and compassion in marriage.
Marriage in Islam is described as a relationship of profound closeness, mercy, and protection — “garments for one another.” This powerful Qur’anic imagery reflects the depth of care, dignity, and mutual support that defines a healthy marital bond.
The Science & Spirituality of Marriage is a 6-week workshop designed to help couples intentionally nurture and strengthen their relationship. Grounded in Prophetic guidance and enriched by contemporary psychological research, this program offers a structured and practical approach to building a flourishing marriage.
Drawing on clinical experience and evidence-based studies on successful relationships, the workshop explores seven essential traits of healthy marriages, guiding participants through both understanding and application. Each session combines meaningful insights with practical tools — including guided exercises, reflective discussions, and strategies that couples can implement in their daily lives.
Rather than viewing marriage as a static state, this program reframes it as a continuous journey of growth, service, and self-refinement. Participants will deepen their appreciation of marriage as an act of ‘ibādah — a trust that is nurtured through intention, patience, and compassion.
Through this shared experience, couples will:
Couples are strongly encouraged to attend together and actively participate in the exercises during the sessions. The workshop is designed to be approximately 60% lecture and 40% interactive exercises, so your engagement is essential to fully benefit from the experience.
