Rabī‘ Qulūbinā: Tajweed Intensive is a focused learning experience designed to support women in developing their understanding and practical application of foundational Tajweed.

Over five structured sessions, participants will explore essential Tajweed concepts through clear explanations, guided examples, repetition, and consistent practice. The intensive combines theory with practical application, allowing students to strengthen their recitation while learning in a supportive environment rooted in motivation, accountability, and sisterhood.

No previous Tajweed background is required, making this an accessible starting point for those seeking to improve their Qur’an recitation and build a stronger foundation for continued learning.

Program Objectives

The intensive aims to:

• Build an understanding of foundational Tajweed through a structured five-day learning journey.
• Strengthen Qur’an recitation through guided examples and consistent practice.
• Foster accountability and motivation through daily theory, practical tips, and application.
• Cultivate an encouraging environment of sisterhood and shared purpose centered around improving Qur’an recitation.

Who Can Join?

The program is open to:

• Women aged 13 and above.
• Participants who are able to read the Qur’an and have basic Arabic reading ability.
• Both Arabic and non-Arabic speakers. Instruction will be delivered in English.
• Beginners — no previous Tajweed background is required.

Participants are expected to commit to punctual and consistent attendance throughout all five sessions.

Course Book

The intensive will use Illustrated Tajweed by Dr. Ayman Suwaid as its primary reference. Participants are highly encouraged to purchase the book for use during the course.

Participants from the same family, such as a mother and daughter attending together, may share one copy.

Please also bring your personal Muṣḥaf, a notebook, and water to each session.

Registration Deadline

Registration closes on Friday, July 24 at 10:00 PM, or earlier if all available spaces are filled.
